    		Opasquia Indian Days
    Aug 18 to Aug 24
    This week-long celebration is hosted every June by the Opaskwayak Cree Nation. Family events include canoe races and well as moose and goose calling. Entertainment such as live fiddlers, the Western Canadian Square Dance Championships and the Miss Opaskwayak Indian Days Pageant draw large audiences. Traditional foods like bannock and moose stew are also plentiful.
